My "BURAN" Space Shuttle Activity

In the period of 1983 - 1991 a totally new Emergency Rescue System was developed by Dr. David Metreveli for the Space Shuttle Crew Safety in the case of a fatal emergency conditions, like the "CHALLENGER" and "COLUMBIA" Space Shuttle disasters.

Developed system could provide crew emergency rescue and safety at any point of flight trajectory from take-off up to landing at any possible emergency conditions, including the most catastrophic failure, such as Launch Vehicle explosion and Orbiter's desintegration.
